Why is dark chocolate so unavailable compared with milk chocolate? Why is the store so saturated with milk chocolate? Why is so often that dark chocolate is not available and milk chocolate is available. Considering the growth in popularity of dark chocolate, you’d think there’d be more prominence of dark chocolate. You’d think there’d be more dark chocolate bunnies in the store for Easter than there actually are. Do you know what I’m trying to come across?
Please, always offer some dark chocolate in your candies including Halloween candy. Give dark milky ways and 70% cocoa dove darks in particular at your house for Trick or Treat.
The more places milk chocolate is offered and dark chocolate is not available, and the more often is the case, the more the popularity of milk chocolate is reinforced.
It seems as though the niche becomes less popular and the mainstream becomes more popular. That’s not the way it should be. In fact, the opposite should be the case.
If dark chocolate is less popular, just include but offer less quantity than milk chocolate, because not as much dark chocolate will be taken as milk chocolate but some will. If you don’t offer dark chocolate, the popularity of dark chocolate will fade.
I’m talking homeostasis.
Diversity isn’t the problem. Imbalance and lack of homeostasis is the problem.
Respect the niche!
